Table Description

Basic Blue Rx plans are not available for enrollment for 2021. If you are a current member or if you enroll in Basic Blue Rx before November 30 with your initial enrollment period, you should choose a new prescription drug plan to ensure you have the coverage you need and avoid the Part D late enrollment penalty (LEP).

Please note the following enrollment periods and how you may be able to use them:

  • Annual enrollment period (AEP) – You can enroll in a new plan between October 15 and December 7. Your new coverage begins January 1, 2021.
  • Special enrollment period (SEP) – If you enroll in a Basic Blue Rx plan before November 30, you are eligible for an SEP and can enroll in a new plan between December 8, 2020 and February 28, 2021. Your new coverage will begin the first of the month following your enrollment.
